Perform the Quick Reset described above.
Plug the desk back into an electrical outlet.
Confirm all cable connections are firmly inserted into the control box.
Double-check that you've reattached the control box to the desk frame to prevent the anti-collision system from being falsely triggered.
Reconnect the leg cable that is now closest to the M2 Port.
Reconnect the leg cable that is now closest to the M1 Port.
Disconnect both leg cables from the control box.
If you have the type of control box with all straight ports that looks like this:
Proceed to step f and skip the next instructions that apply to the other type of control box.Ģ.
Connect the leg cable that is now closest to the M1 port into the leg extension cable.
Connect the leg cable that is now closest to the M2 port.
Slide out the control box from the desk frame, and rotate it 180 degrees and slide it onto the opposite frame end, so that the ports are on opposite sides from where they were originally.
The control box should be connected as shown below.
Adjust the anti-collision sensitivity, check the programming instructions.
This can be overlooked if the cords were not tight prior to the desk height being adjusted.
Check for tight cords pulling on the desk frame or desktop.
Look for anything that might be obstructing the desk's movement up or down.
If it is dangling by a cord or not secured, the anti-collision feature is falsely triggered and your desk won't move properly.
Your control box must be attached firmly to either your desktop or frame.
Due to the sensitivity of our anti-collision system, a cord that is too tight or caught on something is a common cause of desks reversing like this.
Does your desk move slightly and then reverse direction? This motion is an important feature of the anti-collision safety system.
Confirm there is nothing obstructing the desk's motion, clearing out anything too close‒above, below, or beside it. If you're not sure the outlet has power, try plugging something else into that outlet to confirm that it's working.
Check that all cables are securely connected to the control box and that the desk has power.
